As a birth and postpartum doula who acknowledges and values the uniqueness of each individual, my support is tailored to the person receiving it.
What is written below can be used as a general guide of what to expect while journeying together.
Pregnancy, Labour and Birth Support
Two in-home prenatal visits where we dedicate time to connecting and learning. I will meet you, your partner, or chosen birth team member(s), and dive into your desires, fears, and preferences regarding the birth.
We will discuss what care and support look and feel like for you — what calms you, what encourages you, and what doesn’t work for you.
We will review the labour process, including when to let me know that it’s time to join you.
We will also start building on your postpartum intentions by discussing things like feeding, sleeping, and ensuring the home is setup to your comfort for baby’s arrival.
If desired, we can explore past birth and/or pregnancy experiences (whether they are yours or a loved ones). Holding space for that experience, while also offering space for this experience.
My communication lines will be completely open to you. You can text, call, or email me at any time for any reason, beginning on day one.
I will be regularly checking in on you to hear your questions, thoughts, wonderings, emotions, concerns, and any fears that may arise throughout the process. Offering resources, validation, information, reassurance, and support along the way.
On-call 24 hours/day beginning two-weeks before the estimated birth day, lasting until baby is born. With backup doula support arranged ahead of time should an unexpected illness or emergency prevent me from being present.
Once I’ve joined you at home or at your chosen birth place, I will be fully present with you as the waves of labour continue. Offering unwavering support that is tailored to you. And I will remain present with you until the birth, holding sacred space for your passage.
Right after the birth, I will be there to support with baby’s first feeding (if desired) and will stay until you start to feel settled.
I am willing to take photographs of your journey, as decided by you (keeping in mind that I’m not a professional photographer and labour/birth support or limitations set by your care provider and their staff may impact my ability to do so).
Finally, I will be there for one in-home postpartum visit where we can openly talk about the birth and whatever else comes up for you, along with tending to any postpartum needs you may have to round out our time together.
Your investment: $1000
Postpartum and Family Transition Support
One in-home prenatal (or postnatal) visit where we will connect with each other and I will learn about you and your story. We will discuss your needs, preferences, and desires while also reviewing whatever else may require attention.
I will be there as scheduled to offer emotional and practical support, aiding in your transition to new or expanded parenthood. Listening to you, your partner, and/or chosen support team member(s) to hear about the successes and joyful moments, along with the fears, struggles or concerns and tend to those in the ways they need.
If applicable, we will discuss healing for your postpartum body and I will provide comfort measures, nourishment suggestions, wellness resources, and referrals when needed or desired.
I will support with newborn care, such as feeding, changing, baby wearing, and supervision so you can take a breather or rest. And if requested, I will offer guidance related to newborn care, such as learning your baby’s cues, practicing baby wearing, soothing techniques, sleeping patterns, etc.
Sibling support (such as entertaining older siblings while you eat, feed or rest) and care for furry family members (feeding), as needed.
Assistance with baby laundry (washing, folding, putting away), light/general housework (putting away dishes, cleaning baby bottles, tidying up common spaces) and basic meal preparation.
I will also help you with creating a circle of supportive community, as decided by you. The goal is to ensure you have a support system that is tailored to your unique circumstances, needs, and wants.
My communication lines will be completely open to you for the duration of our contract. You can text, call, or email me at any time for any reason, beginning on day one. And I will be regularly checking-in on you.
My intentions are to fully support you in finding your rhythm, fostering self-assuredness, discovering self-nurturing practices, tending to the ups and downs, and honouring your journey through parenthood!
Your investment: $35/hour

Due to personal health reasons, I cannot work in a space where cigarettes are consumed inside.
I am comfortable offering care to furry animals of various kinds, but am not comfortable caring for reptiles, insects, or arachnids.
